Bothism is two things: a short film and a poetry collection of the same name. The 30-minute film was created to accompany live readings of the experimental Sufi text published by Ekstasis Editions in 2017. Together they formed one live, hypnotic videopoem of word, sound and moving image. In this performance, the artist was both absent and present, offering a way into unity through active listening. 

Performances took place from 2018 to 2019 across Canada at The Banff Centre for the Arts (Banff AB), VerseFest (Ottawa ON), Words Aloud (Durham ON), Obey Convention (Halifax NS), Suoni per il Popolo (Montreal QC) and Festival du Texte Court (Sherbrooke QC).
